Definisjon:
Hodeskader inndeles i alvorlighetsgrad og kan spenne fra hjernerystelse til hjerneskade og hjernedød
Forekomst:
I Norge har 7-8% av pasientene som behandles for skade på legevakt eller sykehus, hodeskade
Symptomer:
Kan være hodepine, bevissthetstap, lammelser
Funn:
Kan være endringer ved bevissthet, respirasjon, sirkulasjon, nevrologiske utfall
Diagnostikk:
Primærundersøkelsen er cerebral CT
Behandling:
Avhenger av omfanget av skaden
