Kumelkallergi

Definisjon:
Immunologisk hypersensitivitetsreaksjon mot kumelkprotein. Kan være IgE-mediert eller ikke-IgE-mediert
Forekomst:
Rammer ca. 2-8% av alle småbarn. Sjeldent hos voksne
Symptomer:
Inntrer typisk i nyfødtperioden. Kan komme fra ulike organsystem og inkludere blant annet eksem, diaré og anafylaksi
Funn:
Ved akutt allergi kan man finne urtikaria, luftveisstridor, oppkast eller symptomer på anafylaksi
Diagnostikk:
Aktuelle tester er spesifikt IgE, prikktest, provokasjonstest eller eliminasjonsmetode
Behandling:
Eliminasjon av melk fra kosten, med jevnlige forsøk på reintroduksjon
