Hemolytiske anemier

Definisjon:
Anemi på grunn av nedsatt levetid av erytrocytter. Arvelig eller ervervet. Immunmediert eller ikke-immunmediert. Infeksjonsutløst eller skyldes mikroangiopati, enzymopati, membranopati, hemoglobinopati
Forekomst:
Relativt uvanlig i skandinavisk befolkning
Symptomer:
Anemisymptomer, ikterus og eventuelt gallestein
Funn:
Hepatosplenomegali kan påvises i noen tilfeller
Diagnostikk:
Anemi, retikulocytose, lavt haptoglobin, høy bilirubin, høy LD er sterke indisier på en hemolytisk anemi
Behandling:
Avhenger av årsak. Ofte aktuelt å korrigere anemien. Glukokortikoider, immunsuppresjon, splenektomi kan bli aktuelt
