Definisjon:
Tilstanden er en kombinasjon av kronisk autoimmun binyrebarksvikt (Addisons sykdom) med autoimmun tyreoideasykdom, type I autoimmun diabetes mellitus, eller begge
Forekomst:
Prevalens er i Europa 11-14 per 100.000
Symptomer:
Symptomer på binyrebarksvikt er uspesifikke og felles med mange andre tilstander, og de kan variere i de tidlige stadier av sykdommen, eks. trøtthet, pigmentforandringer
Funn:
Kliniske funn er pigmentendringer, hypotensjon
Diagnostikk:
Aktuelle tester s-kortisol, tyreoideaprøver, blodsukker, antistoff-tester
Behandling:
Består i å korrigere hormonsvikten
