Ondartet svulst utgått fra livmorslimhinnen
Forekomst:
Rundt 800 nye tilfeller hvert år. Rammer i hovedsak eldre kvinner
Symptomer:
Unormal vaginalblødning hos rundt 90%. Smerter er et sent symptom
Funn:
Uterus er sjelden forstørret i tidlige stadier. Senere forstørret, hard og uregelmessig livmor, ev. adherent til omliggende vev. Ev. kan tumorvev ses i portio. Metastaser til fremre vaginalvegg kan forekomme
Diagnostikk:
Histologisk undersøkelse av biopsi fra endometriet eller fraksjonert abrasio
Behandling:
Primærbehandling er minimalt invasiv kirurgi. Kjemoterapi, hormonbehandling eller stråleterapi vurderes ut ifra stadium og risiko for residiv
