Definisjon:
AV-blokk betyr forsinket eller hindret impulsoverledning i AV-knuten. Grenblokk er endret/forlenget depolarisering av ventriklene. V. grenblokk er hyppig relatert til iskemisk hjertesykdom. H. grenblokk er oftest uten betydning
Forekomst:
AV-blokk og grenblokk kan forekomme hos friske. Forekomsten øker med økende alder.
Symptomer:
Tilstandene behøver ikke gi symptomer. AV-blokk kan føre til bradykardi og synkoper. Grenblokk kan disponere for ulike arytmier.
Funn:
Ev. uregelmessig puls, bradykardi, ekstrasystoler
Diagnostikk:
EKG er diagnostisk. AV-blokk PQ > 0,20 s. Grenblokk QRS > 0,12 og unormal impulsutbredning
Behandling:
Behandling med pacemaker ved symptomgivende bradykardi.
