Brugadas syndrom

Definisjon:
Arvelig ledningsforstyrrelse karakterisert med ST-elevasjon med J-bølge i minst en av avledningene V1-V3 (type 1 Brugada-syndrom EKG)
Forekomst:
Prevalens av EKG-forandringene er ca. 0,1% i Europa.
Symptomer:
Disponerer for ventrikkelflimmer, synkope og plutselig død.
Funn:
Kliniske funn mangler utenom EKG-forandringer
Diagnostikk:
Ekg-forandringene kan være intermitterende, ev. bare synlige ved provokasjon av natrium-kanalblokkere, eller ved feber, stort alkoholforbruk, store måltid
Behandling:
Spesialistbehandling. Unngå provoserende medikamenter, feber eller store alkoholinntak. Implantasjon av defibrillator (ICD) ved høy risiko.
