Økt pigmentering av huden kan skyldes økt produksjon av melanin eller økt antall pigmentproduserende celler - enten melanocytter eller nevusceller

Behandling:
I de fleste tilfeller ingen behandling, men kjempecellenevi bør eksideres tidlig
