Definisjon:
Er en kronisk, residiverende, inflammatorisk hudsykdom med multifaktorielle årsaker. 20% har psoriasis artritt
Forekomst:
Prevalens av psoriasis er ca 2-3%
Symptomer:
Utslett og kløe, ev. polyartritt hos 10-40%
Funn:
Velavgrensede, erytematøse skjellende elementer på ekstensorsidene av kroppen og på hodet. Ev. artrittforandringer
Diagnostikk:
Ingen tilleggsundersøkelser er vanligvis påkrevd, bortsett ev. fra hudbiopsi
Behandling:
Lokalbehandling er tilstrekkelig for de fleste, men 20% trenger systemisk behandling der særlig biologiske legemiddel er et stort fremskritt
