Residiverende sår i munnhulen av ukjent årsak, sannsynligvis multifaktoriell
Forekomst:
15-20% i befolkningen plages med dette
Symptomer:
Små sår 2-8 mm i diameter som tilheler i løpet av 10-14 dager. Initialt hyperestesi, deretter smertefulle ulcerasjoner
Funn:
Variert morfologi - runde eller ovale sår, skarpt avgrenset og er omgitt av en hissig rød sone
Diagnostikk:
Ingen tilleggsundersøkelser har diagnostisk verdi
Behandling:
Er vanligvis unødvendig. Ev. skifte tannkrem og unngå å skade slimhinnen. Ev. lokale kortikosteroider, munnskyllevann med klorheksidin eller preparat med svovelsyre
