Definisjon:
Traumatisk brudd av tunica albuginea, bindevevshinnen som omgir svamplegemene i penis
Forekomst:
Sjelden tilstand
Symptomer:
Opptrer under samleie eller kraftig masturbasjon, høres som et lite knekk samtidig med sterk smerte.
Funn:
Oppstår raskt betydelig hevelse. Ved ensidig skade vil penis være skjev.
Diagnostikk:
Klinikken gir mistanke, men MR bekrefter diagnosen.
Behandling:
Operasjon er nødvendig for å gjenopprette anatomi og funksjon.
