Cerebral venetrombose

Definisjon:
Trombose i en sentral cerebral vene eller venesinus. Oftest relatert til protrombotisk tilstand.
Forekomst:
Sjelden. Utgjør færre enn 1% av alle hjerneslag, men rammer vesentlig yngre mennesker, medianalder 37 år.
Symptomer:
Typisk er hodepine, kvalme, ev. lammelser og endring av bevissthetstilstand.
Funn:
Papilleødem. Nevrologiske funn.
Diagnostikk:
Diagnostiseres best med MR.
Behandling:
Antikoagulasjon med heparin og warfarin. DOAC er sannsynligvis å foretrekke i langtidsbehandlingen
