Definisjon:
Kronisk men fluktuerende svimmelhet som forverres i oppreist stilling, ved kompliserte synsinntrykk og ved kroppsbevegelse. 
Forekomst:
Ukjent forekomst, men sannsynligvis ikke sjelden.
Symptomer:
Svimmelhet, ustøhetsfølelse i oppreist stilling. 
Funn:
Vanligvis normal klinisk, nevrologisk status. Noen kan ha vestibulære utfall. 
Diagnostikk:
 Spesifikke diagnostiske kriterier basert på typiske symptomer og funn. 
Behandling:
God informasjon. Vestibulær rehabilitering. Ev. kognitiv atferdsterapi.
