Skade på vevet i bakveggen til lyskekanalen, det foreligger ikke noe brokk
Forekomst:
Ganske vanlig hos fotballspillere på alle nivåer
Symptomer:
Ensidige lyskesmerter som oppstår under idrettslige aktiviteter karakterisert ved høy intensitet, spesielt ved raske spurter, vendinger og kraftige spark på ball
Funn:
Typisk provoseres smertene frem ved hosting og nysing, samt ved å sitte opp ("sit-ups/crunches") og ved å klemme leggene sammen
Diagnostikk:
Ingen tilleggsundersøkelser er nødvendige
Behandling:
Konservativ behandling eller kirurgi med forsterkningsplastikk
