Definisjon:
Uspesifikke degenerative forandringer cervikalt eller lumbalt i ryggraden
Forekomst:
Finnes hos de aller fleste over 40 år, men bare et fåtall har symptomer
Symptomer:
Tilstanden er vanligvis symptomfri
Funn:
Ev. nedsatt bevegelighet, ellers gjennomgående normale kliniske funn
Diagnostikk:
Røntgen stadfester diagnosen, men er vanligvis ikke påkrevd
Behandling:
Behandling er som regel ikke nødvendig
