Øyeforandringer sekundært til tyreotoksikose
Forekomst:
Prevalens av øyesymptomer ved Graves sykdom er 20-25%
Symptomer:
Tilstanden er ubehagelig, smertefull, kosmetisk sjenerende og den kan true synet
Funn:
Eksoftalmus, ofte asymmetrisk, noen ganger ensidig
Diagnostikk:
Aktuelle tester er hormonprøver, antistoffer
Behandling:
Rettes mot grunnlidelsen + ev. steroider + ev. kirurgi
