Definisjon:
 Multiorgan inflammatorisk syndrom hos barn og unge med positiv test for aktuell eller gjennomgått SARS-CoV-2-smitte
Forekomst:
 Sjelden. I USA under koronapandemien 2 per 100 000 under 21 år
Symptomer:
 Feber mer enn 3 dager og abdominalsymptomer hos nær 100%. To eller flere organsystemer involvert, høy andel med sjokk, respirasjonsbesvær og behov for intensivbehandling
Funn:
 Feber, magesmerter, takypne, ev. utslett, konjunktivitt, tegn til kardial skade,  svekket allmenntilistand
Diagnostikk:
 Feber, påvisning av multiorgansykdom, økte inflammasjonsmarkører og tegn til økt koagulasjon, og positiv PCR eller serologi for SARS-CoV-2-infeksjon
Behandling:
 Intensivbehandling, ev. ventilasjonsstøtte. IVIG og acetylsalisylsyre til alle som også tilfredsstiller Kawasaki-kriteriene
