Schizofreni - omfang og betydning

Schizofreni utvikles hos 0,3 til 2 prosent på verdensbasis. De fleste får diagnosen sent i tenårene eller tidlig i tyveårene. For de som rammes, og for pårørende, medfører tilstanden en lidelse som det er vanskelig for andre å sette seg inn i.
